This is a simple, vegetable Japanese side dish. I often make it with leftover string beans. Servings:4-6 Active Cooking Time: 5-10 minutes Ingredients 1/2 lb. green beans, trimmed, boiled, cut int 1/2-inch pieces 2 tbs. soy sauce 2 tsp. sugar 2 tbs. white sesame seeds, roasted

A nice way to cook and serve eggplant, braised, with Japanese flavoring. Servings:4-6 Active Cooking Time: 15-20 minutes Ingredients 1 eggplant, medium, sliced 2 tbs. soy sauce 2 tbs. mirin 1 tbs sugar water to adjust seasoning of sauce

Tacos are my son’s favorite dinner, and he likes very basic tacos without any of the toppings. I’ve tried to make my own taco seasoning but his favorite is El Paso’s. This is not a very original dinner but since I make it every other
